Dr. William E. Durrett, a board certified Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Management Physician, is the owner of Aiken Neurosciences and Pain Management, LLC.
William E. Durrett, M.D. attended Valdosta State University and received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia and his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine. He underwent his general surgery internship at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia and completed his anesthesiology and pain management residencies at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Durrett is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and recently completed certification for vein ablation therapy as well. He attends several meetings and conferences to stay current with the most innovative technology in pain management each year. He has been a guest seminar leader for over 10 years and currently resides in Aiken with his wife and two children. Dr. Haas was graduated by Cornell University and received a Doctor of Medicine degree from New York University. He served a two year residency in internal medicine at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He was then a Staff Associate at the Gerontology Research Center of the National Institutes of Health for two years. He served three years as a resident in neurology at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston with a simultaneous appointment as a fellow in neurology at Harvard Medical School. He is board certified in neurology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology. He is Clinical Professor of Neurology at the Medical College of Georgia. He has been practicing in the Aiken area since 1972. His practice is limited to medical neurology, including electroencephalography, electrodiagnostic studies, sleep medicine and sports neurology.
Dr. Kamel received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina Charleston. His residency in neurology and his fellowship training in neurophysiology were both completed at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Kamel is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and is a board certified neurologist. He has practiced medicine as a general neurologist in Aiken and joined Aiken Neurosciences in 2004.
